                                                       "Few are Chosen"

Elder Edgar Michael, of Antigua & Barbuda blessed Northern Caribbean University’s Sunday night service with an inspirational word from the Lord. The congregation observed with looks of intense contemplation on their faces as Elder Michael spoke on the topic “Few are Chosen.”

In his message he highlighted that we are to be clothed with the garments of Jesus Christ. Speaking from the book of Matthew 22: 1-13, Elder Michael told the parable of the king who held a wedding and invited his guest and they refused his invitation. The king then sent his servants out to call anyone who would come to the wedding. There was a certain man who came but was not properly clothed so he was thrown out of the ceremony.

Elder Michael painted a vivid picture of how Jesus represents the king. He said that Jesus has given his invitation and many have refused it; even so, those who have accepted it are not fully prepared. He encouraged the congregation that we are to accept the invitation of the king, and come fully clothed with his garments because many are called but “few are chosen.”

The congregation was also blessed with a special item of music by Elder Michael.  Undoubtedly, everyone in attendance received a blessing from the Lord and inspiration for the week.
