“Sleeping Among Lions”
Wednesday evening all roads led to the Main Auditorium as Northern Caribbean University's Custodial Department led out in the Prayer and Praise Service. We were blessed by their ministry.
Brother Gorbachev Stewart, a first year Religion Major, brought a powerful message to the congregation. The audience was truly blessed as Brother Gorbachev detailed a few biblical principles that should be practiced on a daily basis.
1. Be a person of excellence and integrity.
“Daniel was preferred above the presidents and the princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.” (Daniel 6:3, KJV)
2. Pray without ceasing.
We can talk to God. He is willing to hear us and gives us the strength we need to do His will.
“Daniel knew that the decree not to pray to God was signed, but he refused to pray to an idol. He open his windows towards Jerusalem, he knelt down three times a day, and prayed.“ (Daniel 6:10, NKJV)
3. When you give your all to God, God blesses you.
Brother Stewart said, “We are all sons and daughter of God and if we trust Him, and do what he tells us to do, then he will indeed bless us in all circumstances of our live.
